Government of Germany granted € 10 million in endowment to MAR Fund
The Mesoamerican Reef Fund MAR Fund, regional conservation fund comprising Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Honduras, received 10 million Euros (equivalent to U.S. $ 13.05 million) from the German government in endowment funds. The earnings will be used to support its Small Grants and Community Fisheries Programs, as well as core operations of MAR Fund.
