There are more humane ways of dealing with «invasive species» than 1080, world renowned conservationist Dr Jane Goodall says.

Goodall, DBE, and founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, is on a speaking tour of New Zealand until May 31, talking about ways in which «we can heal the harm we’ve inflicted on planet earth».

She was filmed on children’s television show Fanimals in Christchurch on Tuesday encouraging Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o te whānau tahi pupils to help the world «give nature a chance».
